Nikon lenses for BMPC4K?

PostTue Feb 11, 2014 9:44 am

I own a BMCC MFT with Speed Booster and Tokina 11-16mm, Sigma 18-35mm, Bower (Rokinon) 85mm, and Tamron 70-200mm lenses, all Nikon mount. I am tempted to buy the new 4K, mostly because of the global shutter. Since it has a larger sensor, the Speed Booster is not needed, and I understand I can use all of my lenses via a Nikon/Canon adapter with an aperture dial. So, besides not being able to use image stabilization, auto focus and have aperture set from the camera, is there any other caveat? Should I sell the lenses and get ones with EF mount, or will they work just fine?

Those lenses should all work just as they do on the BMCC. All those lenses will cover the sensor. The field of view will just be wider than on the BMCC.

You just need the correct adaptor.
