Portkeys LH5P-II sucks with multiple bmpcc4ks

Hi guys,
I just received my LH5P II, updated the firmware to V3-.09.14.C30.B35 and both BMPCC 4Ks are on 8.4

I've bound both cams to the lh5p, had to type in the key, all good, so far.
both cams are listed under "my Device", but most times, the selection isnt possible (there should be a gray selection box visible, which isnt.. just not there...)

Its not clearly stated, if the monitor is correctly connected, let's you change params, allthough they are not reflected on the camera (instead of being grayed out, when there's no connection).

DID YOU TRY MULTIPLE CAMERAS ?

Besides that, the on-screen interface also sucks. vertical move gestures bring you into camera control menu, but horizontal move gesture brings you back, but only if you slide in the right screen half..if you (logically) slide over the whole screen, it does nothing....

greets from unhappy Mike :(

BTW: my multicam switching&control works perfectly with the android app "Blackmagic Pocket Control", v 1.0.18 for 2$ in app store! many others also suck :(
and this app could do a lot better, IMHO... GUI-wise...

greets
Mike

Just so I understand.
You have two camera’s, of which one is connected with hdmi cable to the monitor.
You want use the monitor to control both camera’s, with the help of a bluetooth connection by switching from one profile to the next.
If that would work then both camera’s should be connected simultaneously and as far as I know that is not possible with bluetooth.

So you will have to disconnect a connected camera first and then pair the other camera as if there had not been a connection to either camera yet.

I could be wrong though.

Hi!
I fully understand that, of course... and that's what I expect to happen in the background: stopping current connection, and swithing to the other connection.

disconnecting is different though... it would need new key binding when reconnecting every time...
btw, the lh5p only lets you disconnect, if the connectuon is established first...and misbehaves on that as well :( it seems to be buggy, imho...

the mentioned android app works and switches back and forth, though!
