I received my camera a week ago, but had to wait for the arrival of a compatible lens. So far I have only been able to do a few tests on the camera.

I have been very surprised by how hot the camera body gets, the metal part that houses the controls and the lens mount is painfully hot to touch. I can feel that hot air is exiting the vents either side of the lens but I don't hear a fan running. Have other owners experienced anything similar? I am wondering if I have a defective unit.
