Matching BMPCC 6K Pro to Panasonic Lumix G85

PostWed Jan 31, 2024 4:45 am

Hey there Black Magic Friends!

I have a low budget shoot on the horizon and production is requesting that I match two Panasonic Lumix G85s to my BlackMagic 6K Pro. I'm comparing with Extended Video that is the Gen 5 lut and the closest I can get is a bump in ISO and lowering the F/Stop. It still looks a little dark by comparision and wondering if any of you can provide any tips, tricks, or advice to achieve a perfect match to the G85. I’m working in Premiere if that helps.

Here are my current settings:
Lumix G85: Standard Style, F3.5, 1/125 SS, 6400 ISO
6K Pro: Gen 5 Film to Extended Video, F2.5, 1/125SS, 3200 ISO

The color space is most likely off as well given they are two very different cameras from each other. Are there any LUTs you'd recommend or specific tweaking from either camera?

Thank you so much for your help and happy to answer any questions!
