bmpcc 6k stuttering recording

Using the BMPCC 6k, with samsung t5 1tb
Everything has been cool until recent, possible firmware update. Now all footage in 6k stutters. 4k is fine. What's the solution?

Perhaps using a drive approved by BMD for 6K will give better performance.

Perhaps shooting at 60 frames per second instead of 24-30 would help?

Stutters where? In-camera playback? In Resolve after copying the media to an internal drive? Both?

It's the drive or the cable.

What format are you recording in? I had this problem with the 6kpro recording in braw on an SD 200MB/s drive. I switched to prores and it fixed the issue.

I also noticed that the braw file didn’t skip or drop frames when played outside da vinci resolve but had many dropped ‘media not found’ within da vinci resolve. Still haven’t figured this part out.

If there is dropped frame Resolve told you to avoid to edit a damaged file, if you read from player it read present frame and stop.
