Personally, I like Acasis better. They have a nice unit combined with a hub too.
This is a post that I wrote for the MacRumors forum that compares an Acasis enclosure with a TEKQ Cube. There are photos of both:
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/th ... t-31139359The TEKQ was one of the first on the market. I came across it in an AnandTech article around maybe 2018. It became hard to find, but is readily available again. It's held together by screws. You know, so you can be mobile and put it in your shirt pocket.
Acasis's big selling point is that its enclosures are "toolless". What that means is that it got the lame brain idea to sell enclosures that are held together by friction. That way, one doesn't need to go to the effort of learning to use a screwdriver. Hey, the Acasis comes apart quicker, including, of course, all by itself. Being "toolless", the Acasis also uses a proprietary rubber piece, instead of a commonly available screw, to hold the SSD in place.
I still have the Acasis that I purchased, but I don't travel with it and I won't be buying another one.
