App shooting photos not videos

Hi when I use the app the record button looks different almost like a sideways e and after I record something for testing purposes and go into media it shows 0 second clips, like photos instead of videos. What did I do wrong?

Which camera?
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
