pz 14-42mm panasonic won't retract on BMPCC og

so my pz 14-42mm panasonic won't retract on BMPCC og; stopped all of a sudden. I've been using it for about a year no issues.
I tried downgrading my firmware to 1.9 and then back to 2.3 and nothing. It's still stuck on the full zoom out position. I don't own any other m43 bodies to test it out on..
Is there any fix? Should I try twisting the lens ?
Any help assisted...
ps..i cleaned the contacts a few times too
