Controlling Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 with recording

I am currently controling my cams with JSON request over network.
Since the command set support recording activation and as I am using the USB-C port with a ethernet adaptor, I am wondering what would be the best setup to add my samsung T7 drive for recording.
I am not sure if the USB-C port can do both activities at the same time with a splitter.
