LANC remote controller for Blackmagic Production Camera 4K ?

PostWed Mar 12, 2014 3:11 am

Sorry, I don't find the list of compatible LANC remote controllers for Blackmagic Production Camera 4K to FOCUSING "compatible lenses" remotely...( when camera on Crane/Jib or Steadicam...)
I search forum, but nothing about it yet here.. :(
In Blackmagic Production Camera 4K manual it says:
LANC Remote Control
The remote port on your camera is used to remotely control record starting and stopping, iris adjustments
and manual focus adjustments when using a compatible lens....
Does that mean that LANC remote should have some kind of wheel we can turn in two opposite direction to adjust focus remotely looking to External monitor, like focus puller do with expensive Remote Follow Focus unit ?
Sorry for my English.. :)

No, these are not really useful for remote focusing, and for start/stop only you can something far cheaper like the JJC SR-VD1.
No, an iGPU is not enough, and you can't use HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 in the free version.

Studio 18.6.5, MacOS 13.6.5
MacBook M1 Pro, 16 GPU cores, 32 GB RAM and iPhone 15 Pro
Speed Editor, UltraStudio Monitor 3G, iMac 2017, eGPU

If the 4K has "push to focus" feature that works with Canon auto focus lens, then the Bebob ZOE-DVXL should remote focus the lens also. This works on the Pocket camera with Panny/Leica auto focus lenses.
