Update the camera firmware

I have just watched the video on updating the camera firmware. The video used a Mac. How can I update the camera firmware using my Linux desktop computer?

I have a Blackmagic pocket cine camera. I do not have Windows or Mac computers, only Ubuntu Linux and a Chromebook.

you need either macOS or Win10/Win11. Either get a used Laptop or install virtualbox VM-Ware.
But you need Windows 10/11 for both solutions.

I am also a Linux Dude and have no windows systems. Until camera update V7.9.1. it worked for me on old Win laptops or Virtualmachines under Linux. Latter Versions do not run on my systems, but i have bot figured out why... support has no solution so far...
