BMPCC4K 5" Screen Goes Haywire

Anybody else notice the 5" monitor on the BMPCC4K going haywire upon powering on? This happens intermittently to my camera. All firmware is updated, Sony NPF battery (with proper plate) charged fully. I connect a fully charged battery (or plugged in to AC current) and power on and the rear screen automatically scrolls through all of the menus at a lightning pace, constantly looping, showing every menu for a split second. Then I power off, power on again but now the clean feed is activated and I have to go through the menus to re-enter and save all of my original settings.

This happening to anyone else and what may I do to repair this? The camera is five years old, hardly ever used and this peculiar symptom only happens once in awhile bit it's still concerning. Any thoughts? Ideas?
