Ursa Mini 12K Dropped frames using USB-C on every resolution

Yesterday in the middle of a time-critical job, my URSA 12K started dropping frames.
I tried a variety of other SSDs from the approved list, both using the BM SSD Recorder and external SSDs, as well as numerous USB-C cables that have always worked and were thoroughly tested using the BM Disk speed test.
I also tried lowering the quality, I am currently using 4K 18:1 / 24FPS, which should record on anything but still getting dropped frames.
The problem seems to be intermittent, it doesn't look cable or connector-related, but some sort of caching issue. After a few reboots, I managed to get 40 min of video nonstop, but when I stopped the clip and started a new one, the frames started dropping again.
It would be good if we had some logs to see exactly WTF is happening to cause the issues. I called BM support and they suggested sending the camera to get the internal part of the Usb-c cable replaced, but said that that may not fix the issue.
Any ideas?
