Hi All,

in the days before a client shoot I'll often exercise my batteries, running them flat in the camera and then charging them fully before heading out.

I'll put in the battery, hit record and let it go till it runs flat, then cycle through all of the batteries.

Is this bad for the cameras? BMPCC6kPro & UMPG2

Not the camera, but the batteries. This approach was needed for classic NiCad batteries, but with modern Lithium ones you just waste cycles from their lifetime.
Some suggest to still do that every 2-3 months, which should help with calibration.

A small charging Current is often better , but the provided chargers do not allow selecting this ..
Batteries are a whole " Know-How " ... not that simple ..
