Hi,

I wanted to extend battery life on my BMPCC 4K using the Ronin-S gimbal as power supply. I Got the Tilta Ronin-S 12V Power Cable for BMPCC 4K/6K. But when connecting this, it supplies the camera, but the servos starts making noise and the gimbal battery is drained after 30 min, even though the camera is just in standby, and the gimbal is only pointing in one direction. The servo noise disappears when I unplug the camera. It seems the camera is pulling too much power. Is this normal, or is there something wrong with my BMPCC 4K?

You need more power. I would run vmount battery with a Dtap splitter going to the Pocket 4k and another dtap cable going to the Ronin-S. You will need the DJI Universal Mount or the Tilta equivalent.
