Hi Folks,
My apologies if there is already a thread on this topic, but I think it would be a good idea to add a feature request Board or at least thread. I will start with my own feature requests:
1. On camera SSD formatting:
I'm sure it's been said a lot before.
2. On camera SSD stats (i.e. time/space remaining):
It helps to know how much room you have left so you can prepare the next card before taking a long shot.
3. Thumbnail view of existing recorded clips:
...or at minimum, some display of clip ID when stepping through previously recorded footage.
4. The ability to delete previously recorded clips (i.e. bad takes):
SSDs don't suffer fragmentation the same way physical drives do, so why not make this option available?
5. Accurate battery charge progress meter:
For me, when the camera is plugged in, it says 75% all the time, regardless of how low the battery actually is.
6. RAW/DNG recording firmware update on the BMCC and BMPC4K:
I'm sure I don't need to reiterate how much this will mean to users who have been drooling for this functionality so long.
I know Blackmagic has been trying hard to catch up with customer needs, especially with the long delay to release, but I believe a robust follow through on supporting the product will make a big difference. Thanks in advance Blackmagic!!
