You may be able to separate channels in Resolve.

I see two channels in Resolve when I put the clips on my timeline.

Only mono-mix sound bmcc ff

Chris, the first channel represents Left and the second channel Right. You can duplicate the Track and then in Track 1, delete the second channel. In Track 2, copy Right channel 2 to Left channel 1 and the delete channel 2. So then you have two separate mono tracks with Left and Right; in Fairlight or Edit you can set the Pan of the channel to indicate Left and Right and otherwise apply EQ to get a difference in sound quality for those channels.

Simpler if you can just change the original Track 1 Mono to Track 1 Stereo but I don’t know if you can Pan the channels Left and Right as in the paragraph above.

Might take some playing around with it so prudent to duplicate the track and test with the copy.

If there are Vocals on the track with music, you can duplicate the track and apply Voice Isolation to the new Track. You could apply Pan as well if that made sense with two vocalists.

Thanks. I wasn't sure whether the OP was using the internal mics or stereo mics. FWIW, I was reporting that my own testing using the internal mics shows L/R channels in Fairlight. As does my clips using a single shotgun mic. I hadn't messed around with that much because for two mics I use my Mixpre3. I'll dig into what you posted since now I'm curious...
