URGENT | Corrupt/Damaged Cinema DNG files Ursa Mini 4.6K

PostSat Jul 20, 2024 8:41 pm

Hi:
I've shooted several hours of footage with an Ursa Mini 4.6K EF, with the Ctech SSD Adapter and a Samsung 860 Pro 2TB disk.

-When importing the files to the computer the size is correct and they have no missing frames
-Davinci Resolve 19 crashes everytime I try to open them in media pool (not even playing them in the media pool itself)
-After installing Davinci Reslve 15, it opens and plays the files, but in a lot of frames 'Media Offline Advice' appears, and a large amount of pink, green, black, white frames, in a random order.
-These dropped and bad frames keep existing in exported file

Is there any chance to recover the files (as they are complete), or regenerate or fix them?

It is really an urgent subject, as I'm in the middle of a shooting, and we have to conitnue it on Monday.

I'll really appreciate any help with this!

Thanks

Which computer hardware are you using to see them?
Can you display those missing/damaged frames in a simple image viewer?
If you can post a short sequence to a cloud service, someone might be able to narrow down the issue.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
