I have a bmpc4k and I just purchased a comica dual lav mic system. I have the camera audio input as follows. 3.5 left - line & 3.5 right line. My question is how would I be able to adjust each left and right side for the same volume levels. After messing around with them it looks like the audio from both left and right are on the same audio track, there's only 1. If I needed to, how could I adjust the volumes levels independtly from each other.

I've used a single senheiser wireless lav before and there was only 1 audio track. For 2 mics shouldnt there be 2 audio tracks. One for mic A and another for mic B?

I'm puzzled why line inputs? I find 3.5mm Left-Mic and 3,5mm Right-Mic are needed with my Rode Wireless Pro set. Also, I'm not familiar with the Comica kit but have you set the receiver (RX) to output mono or stereo?
My Rode set allows various channel output combinations for the RX (though I usually leave it set to two-channel output, even if I'm only using one transmitter - easier to sort in post if set wrong that way round).

There will be, it will just be showing up as a stereo track, with one mic on the left and the other on the right. Your video editor application should have an option to split them to two mono tracks.

DaVinci Resolve can show and split the two stereo channels into two mono tracks if you wish with independent audio controls such as pan left and pan right.

There’s always the option to add an external recorder and record two separate tracks that way. I use the Sound Devices MixPre-6 II to record separate XLR tracks with independent audio controls for each track.

The Line Inputs on the P4K aren't user adjustable. Don't know why.

Use the Mic level inputs for mics. They're independently adjustable.

Thanks all for the replies, It had been awhile since I had someone mic'd up. I dont know why I choose line instead of mic ( DAH ). Knowng that I can adjust the right and left independantly is what I wanted to know.

I believe channel 1 is Left and channel 2 is Right. Resolve tells you in any event.
