Frame guides opacity

PostMon Aug 05, 2024 8:30 pm

P6kpro
Is there a way to set the opacity outside the frame guides to zero. The lowest is 25% which darkens the screen outside of the frame guide. I’m basically looking for just the frame without the darkening.
And can you have more than one frame guide displayed. Ie 9x16 , 1x1 , 4x3 at the same time ?

Thanks

I have the P4k, but I've never seen such an option.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

The menu options don’t quite work the way our selections can be made. I tried to set a frame guide of 2.39:1 and Safe Area to 100% while turning off the display of the frame guide, but that trick didn’t do what you wanted. What you might be able to do if your desired frame matches the sensor aspect ratio: turn off the display of the frame guide and set the Safe Area to be close to the dimensions of your desired frame.
