I made some clips with the build in mic's of the Blackmagic 6K pro and after playing back I have no sound from the second half of the clips. How's that possible?
Hi, Like the previous user mentioned. When you set your project to 25 and record HFR(slow mo) it will capture extra frames on your 24 time base. Hence slow motion. But the audio is still at 24. So, on your NLE, you can conform the clip from 50 to 24 and the audio will ,arch the video. Or, delink the clip and manually slow down the audio to match the 50 frames. So slow it down by 50% so that its extends to match the clip
thanks for your reply. In the master settings and everwhere else where I look in DavinciResolve, I only see 24fps and not 50fps. Can you pls tell me where I can find the 50fps?
This is because when you record the audio is at project settings speed so it will be usable audio thought you shoot off speed and there fore it will only last half of the off speed recording. You shoot at project frame rate 24fps so the file will play at 24fps and because your off speed was set to 50fps the video will be twice the project speed on the timeline. So as said above this is normal.

1. You can disconnect the audio from the video and then speed up the video to match the audio if you want to have the audio at normal speed.
2. You can disconnect the audio from the video and slow down the audio if you want to use the video in slime. But if you do this then your audio will sound weird with wrong pitch, it will not sound normal at all.
3. Depending on what is going on in the video you could take a look at choosing parts of the video you want to use and then find parts of the audio that fits those parts with the audio played at normal speed, or use foley, possible you can find matching audio you can even use audio from other video files you shot.

I think option 1 is the best one: 1. You can disconnect the audio from the video and then speed up the video to match the audio if you want to have the audio at normal speed.
Since I'm an absolute beginner: What is your definition of speed up the video? Because if I take it literally, the video will be played back to fast and that would be odd...
In previous reactions it turnes out that the audio is in 24fps and the video in 50fps. That would mean that I have to get rid of 25fps video. Correct? If so, how can I do that?
Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I'm having the same issue... accidentally had off speed frame rate enabled and so I'm missing half the audio from the clip.
Changing the clip speed isn't the trick, it just makes the audio half the speed as well so this guy sounds drunk.
