Cinema 6K Full-frame Update

Should I upgrade by BMC6K FF to the latest 9.0 firmware? Is there anything new added?
Also, is there a way to turn off the small led light next to the power button when the camera is off?
Recently I left my power cable connected for close to 20hours and this small led light drained half of my V-mount battery.
Lastly, do you think there will be a 6K 16:9 mode at 50fps in the future? Currently it is 6K DCI 48fps.
