Is this Pyxis external power connector the same as the Blackmagic Pocket range, or different?
(Sorry for all the Pyxis questions, I have planned to buy a BMCC 6K full frame but with the release of the new monitor, Pyxis has become a lot more attractive to me).

No, it’s different. It uses the 2 pin Leno style connector for power.

BMD is moving toward more industry standards in their new cameras so the 2-pin lemo connector is welcome.

I was confused as I thought the Pocket camera power connector was also a 2-pin Lemo plug.

I think the Pockets use a 2-pin Weipo. Not sure about the latest 6Ks.
