Hi there,

I know that via official camera app, apple log is only available on iPhone 15 Pro 256+ GB.

Could anyone tell me, if it’s available in Blackmagic Cam on 128 GB version?

Ss from 14 Pro.

Thanks!

Should be available if you are recording to an external ssd on both the camera app and Blackmagic one.

Apple specifically disables ProRES use on 128 GB iPhones in some settings (Log or not). Official document:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/109041

It’s purely a performance problem (i guess 128GB iPhones do not muster the same internal memory bandwith as 256GB and higher).

kriis in that very same support article you linked it says when you scroll down

ProRes support for 128 GB storage capacity:

1080p HD at 30 fps and 25 fps

4K at 60 fps, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro models only, when using an external storage device that supports speeds of at least 220MB per second and maximum power draw of 4.5W

What’s your problem?

I stated “Apple specifically disables ProRES use on 128 GB iPhones in some settings”. What’s wrong with that?

For completeness I ALSO supplied the official document, containing ALL official Apple specifications.

What’s your problem?

Regards

Added: I should have quoted the original post, not your post. I wanted to make it clear, that the limitations were caused by Apple and not BlackMagic.
