Davinci settings for 2 mic audio

PostFri Oct 04, 2024 6:16 am

I have used a Pocket 3 with a single Mic 2 since they were released. I recently upgraded to a 2nd Mic 2, When I import footage to Davinci I can only hear Mic1. If I play the footage outside of Davinci I can hear both Mics. It seems to be fine in iMovie also. I assume it is just an import setting needs changed but I cannot find anything. I have right clicked on the Audio track, then in settings made sure Stereo is selected, Thanks in advance for any assistance

Right click on the audio track ,,, under clip attributes .. second column to the right - AUDIO -

Change format to stereo then pick embedded Channel 1 for Left and
embedded Channel 2 for Right.

Thanks Bob, I had initially tried that, with no real effect.
My first row shows
Stereo Embedded Channel 1, M , Audio 1, Left.
My 2nd Row,
nothing in the format box, Embedded Channel 2, blank, blank, Right

The audio is still just the Mic 1

Hi Everyone, I managed to get this resolved. I did the right click audio setting change, then copied soundtrack 1 into Soundtrack 2, and voila, 2nd Mic appeared. Thank you for your help
