Trade in BMCC for URSA

PostMon Apr 07, 2014 7:12 pm

I think since the BMCC is not ever going to function as advertised, that BMD should give a $3000 credit towards people who want to update to a actually working camera... I'm very unhappy that its been 2 years and there still black sun spots on the first camera from blackmagic... kind of pathetic honestly

This is idiotic. Even if they did trade in they would never do it for $3000 for a used $2000 camera.

They may be forced to do it under court order if they don't fix the current line up. You can't advertise a product in the USA as being something it isn't. The BMPC4K was advertised as a 4K RAW production camera, it was sold under those pretenses, the camera I received, is not the camera I purchased.

I agree with Frank. I love my Cinema Camera and I just plunked down the money for the new 4k camera and I'm thinking that you can pretty much kiss any upgrades for those cameras goodbye with the release of these new cameras.
