iPhone 16 Pro frame rates

PostMon Oct 14, 2024 6:49 am

Does the iPhone 16 Pro (Max) support constant frame rates or is the behaviour still variable frame rate, as for the iPhone 15 Pro (Max)?

I've only tested a short clip and it was reported as constant frame rate in Mediainfo. It was Apple ProRes using Apple Log shot in the Blackmagic Camera app. Does it have to be a longer clip to be a good test?

Yes.

Around a minute or two. More won’t hurt.

Second that, very short clips tend to be CFR in iPhone 15 too.
