If I use the 2/3" Fujion HA14x4.5 I have a horizontal field of view from 94-8.7 degree. If I put this lens to URSA Broadcast G2 camera with B4 mount do I have the same field of view? Thanks for any help.
Do you know the physical dimensions of the area that lens covers on your ENG camera? The Broadcast camera’s B4 adapter likely expands the image circle by 1.5x (I think) to cover a larger sensor area such as Super 16 but it’s possible your angle of view will be close to that of the ENG camera.
But of guesswork on my part as I don’t own the camera or its B4 adapter. I use the URSA Mini 4.6K camera with a Fujinon 20x7.8 cine zoom and a B4 adapter that expands the image 1.1x.
Thank you very much for your answer. The 2/3" sensor has a size of 9,6x5,4 mm. And the Broadcast G2 has a sensor of 36x24mm. Maybe your cine lens is adapted to this bigger sensor even having the B4 mount.
The G2 sensor is only 23mm wide, the tele is 1.5x but the sensor crop in UHD on the G2 ends up being a little wider than 14.4mm (9.8mmX1.5). As a result the FOV is wider than you’d get on a 2/3” cam but vignetting can be more of an issue especially with ultrawides.
