URSA pl or eos?

PostWed Apr 09, 2014 3:38 am

I'm in kind of a dilema here. I own a set of Nikkor cine primes that I love and want to use with the ursa. However I also use PL mount glass from time to time. Unfortunately you have to buy the sensor and mount and it has been said that it's not something that should be changed every day. I know I can adapt my nikkons to eos easily but can I use a pl adapter to eos for any lens? I've seen specific ones listed due to clearance issues on dslrs. Anyone have any experience with this on either the eos BMCC or 4k cam?

Theres adaptors for using PL lenses on EF mounts but the problem is there are very few PL lenses that will work on them. I think CP.2's are fine but after that I'm not sure. Theres a couple of threads here that list the PL's that are known to work, but I can't think of a search word. Searching for "PL" doesn't work. Hang on, I'll have a look....
