I'm having some issues with a Blackmagic 12K camera? 2 questions.

1. What are best media specs on SD or CF cards?

2. SlomMo looks choppy? Using SD cards 95MB V30? need help?

I have two questions regarding your URSA Mini Pro 12K camera:

There is a setting within the camera menus to Stop Recording with Dropped Frames (or something like that). You should always set that On so the camera will not try to continue to record when your media cards are not able to keep up with the data rate the camera is trying to record. Have you selected that option?

On the BMD Support webpage, scroll down the middle column to find the CFast2 and SDXC cards that BMD has verified for various frame rates and resolutions. Have you been using the recommended media cards for the frame rates you are using for slow motion?

Go to support page, select cameras and check the list of approved cameras.
V30 cannot allow you record nothing, to low data rate for a 12k camera.
Choose ONLY approved support or you risk to waste time and shooting.

That camera can record very high data rates by striping the data to two cards. They'll be automatically recombined in DR when in the same folder.
BTW, the manuals for all cameras can be downloaded freely in the support section.
