FD-EF-MFT: (How) Will it work?

PostThu Apr 10, 2014 11:43 am

Hi,

So I have the Pocket camera, 50 1.4 FD (FD to MFT adapter), 50 1.8 EF (EF to MFT adapter)
These things are on their way:
RJ Lens Turbo EF-MFT
Rokinon 85 1.4 EF

You know what I'm trying.

Two questions (unrelated to each other):
1. I know the 85 1.4 and 50 1.8 will work on the lens turbo.
However, since the manual focus on the 50 1.8 is so bad, I'm not that excited for it. But can I use the 50 1.4 FD on this lens turbo somehow? How will the results be?
I don't want to buy another FD-MFT lens turbo, I don't want to buy those optical FD-EF adapters since my 50 1.4FD is already a little soft wide open.
So what are my options?

2. Is the Rokinon 85 1.4 a good option? Both with and without the lens turbo? (0.72x 1 stop, good reviews)
I have these in my kit already: Panasonic 12-35 2.8, 20 1.7, Meteor 5-1 17-69 1.9 (it's good but has a long minimum focus distance (help?)).
So, I don't really mind a very long lens.

I'll have to stretch but I can also go for the Rokinon 35 1.4 but that would be a little redundant?
I've put my Panasonic 12-35 on sale. Haven't really used that too much and will probably buy a Rokinon 16 t2 EF. That along with the lens turbo should be interesting.

Comments?
Thanks.
