Really enjoying the Blackmagic Camera iOS app because of the ability to Blackmagic Cloud. My hobbyist workflow is as follows: I've been using another app, CamX, to connect to my camera (a basic fuji) via UVC on an iPad and monitor/record the UVC provided stream to disk. I then use Blackmagic Camera to upload the videos that were saved to disk to Blackmagic Cloud, and then cut the videos on Resolve.

Given that Blackmagic Camera can act as an actual capture device using the device's own cameras, it would be really cool to simplify my workflow by allowing the app on iPad OS to serve as a UVC capture device as well (my understanding is that only iPad OS allows UVC camera input). That way I could record directly in the app & auto upload to Blackmagic Cloud without dealing with a third party app. I realize a few of the control (e.g. exposure changes) would not be possible with the UVC input stream compared to the actual device cameras, but I'd prefer to handle these on my physical camera anyways. The only thing I'd need is a way to rotate the video stream 90/270 degrees since I shoot vertical video. Hoping this might be possible!

Does anyone know of an easy/workaround now for auto-uploading 3rd party camera footage directly to Blackmagic Cloud that's around now?

It would be amazing if you could make that happen. I have a Leica q3, and the video stability is garbage, and there is no way to connect a DJI mic for audio. If the Blackmagic app could input the video signal and then handle everything else that the app does today, that would be incredible.
