Thanks, Theodore! It was a satirical response to those people that are never satisfied by what others post in the spirit of trying to be helpful. .

I believe sarcasm isn't taught in many countries around the globe and is also difficult to understand when English is your second language, perhaps in future a clearly defined label that your post is sarcasm or at the very least a smiley at the end would help everyone to see the humour in it? :D

I also think that this video confuses people, mistaking bit depth with dynamic range. Bit depth is there to avoid luminance and color banding when color grading.

*nasty old man's tone* Poeple are making these videos, getting praised, but! With great power of making tutorial videos comes a great responsibility! People could now think that while recording to an external recorder while having uncopressed 10bit output from a dslr like the new sony alpha, you can suddenly have more dynamic range than in 8bit format... And then become totally disappointed.

Thank you for the video! It makes me happy to see that I, with limited color correction skills, am nowhere near getting the maximum out of this camera. I have to say though that I shoot mostly in ProRes, but even that, compared to my old Canon DSLR footage holds up SO much better in post.

As for the 2.1 version of this comparison - too bad its not video. I havent had enough coffee yet to read through that all ;P
