Black Magic Camera False Color Issue

The false color on Blackmagic cameras is unusable when shooting in Apple Log. It doesn't accurately display exposure levels—even with the lens covered, it shows 18% gray instead of BDL purple. False color is crucial for consistent exposure across lighting conditions and for avoiding shadow or highlight clipping, but it fails in this case. I’ve also noticed that highlight indicators only function intermittently, and the histogram doesn’t behave reliably. This leaves me exposing scenes blindly, relying on memory rather than accurate tools.
