SSD doesn't connect to BMPCC4K

This is my first time posting, so I'm sorry if this is an already solved issue.
I have a samsung SSD T7 (I know it's not in the recommended list), with which I've been shooting for 6 months. I had some issues in the beginning, but I just had to install the latest update and since then everything has been fine.
This morning, however, my camera just doesn't connect to the SSD. The one time it did, the camera completely crashed when I pressed record. I have installed the latest updates, and tried with different cables. When I connect the hard drive to my computer, it's completely fine. It's in the right format as well (exfat), so I have no idea what else I can try.
Can somebody please help me?
