Best low latency wireless HDMI tx/rx for focus pulling - wit

PostFri Nov 29, 2024 1:14 pm

Hi All,
Am looking at getting my first wireless tx/rx for focus pulling thus need low latency.

I was looking at the Teradek ace 750 but it has no hdmi out which means that I can only configure it camera hdmi out to bm video assist to teradek tx.
Does anyone know what the additional latency is running it through the bm video assist? I’m concerned that this configuration will slow it down so it won’t be fast enough for focus pulling? Or any other suggestions welcome.
Thanks
JP.

I used a Paralinx ACE for 10+ years and never had an issue... you can still find a 1:1 kit used for under 700. I also never needed anything with a longer range, and if we did we rented. Would have never switched if i didnt liquidate all my cameras except for my Gemini (got the RED teradek which is "built in) and my V-Raptor which doesnt have hdmi so I went with a BOLT series but the Paralinx worked well for a LONG time.

Theyre under the teradek brand now.

*Disclaimer, theyre old, big, heavy and not pretty* if you care about that stuff

https://teradek.com/collections/sale?_=pf&pf_t_product=Paralinx

slightly over 700 from teradek refurb... im sure you can find on ebay etc cheaper
