Prime Cine Lens recommendations that shows T stops and singl

Hi All,
I bought a meike 18mm cine lens. As it was my first manual cine lens I didn’t realize it had no electronics at all in it.

Can you please recommend a set of prime cine lenses that will show (and ideally control) both the f-stop (t-stop) on the BM monitor and also allow me to push the focus button for a single autofocus?

Thanks
JP.

I don't think they exist. I think such lenses would all be considered more of a Photo lens than a Cine lens, the difference typically being that Cine is fully manual.

The best you’re going to get is Cooke /i Technology and ARRI LDS in some of their PL and LPL Cine Lenses. However, that will only transmit the data to the camera for metadata. You’ll see on the monitor the T Stop you’re at, but won’t be able to change it from a camera monitor.

The solution is to use FIZ Wireless Lens Motors and a FIZ Hand Unit. Preferably one you can properly map the lenses to display the T Stop, Focal Length, and Focus Distance info on the hand unit. Then you can control all that from the hand unit.

With the UCine you’ll get the added benefit of the lens communicating with the camera for you to display the T Stop and Focus Distance info on screen. You can have this be beneficial for an AC pulling focus, and with that camera you can even set focus marks. But the lens needs to have /i Technology or LDS.
