INFO LATEST FIRMWARE Ursa Broadcast G2

PostFri Jan 10, 2025 9:20 pm

Good evening everyone, can you tell me what is the latest firmware available for the "Ursa Broadcast G2"? I installed version 9.2 on my PC but connecting the camera with the USB cable on the side port does not perform the update. The camera has firmware version 8.7 now. Thanks for the answers. Best regards.

The most recent camera setup will always check if the connected camera has the latest firmware.
If nothing happens, while the camera is recognised, it means that you are already up-to-date.

There are two USB ports on that camera.

Try the other one.

I don't know how you use your Ursa Bcasts but be aware that the last update 8.5.1 caused intermittent loss of focus control for me. I'm Using Fujinon UA22 x 8BERD 4k lenses and Fujinon EPD-4A-E12A focus controls. I also tried both Fujinon ZA and HA lenses with the same issue. Losing focus control mid gig was tricky to say the least. I did flag it with BM but had to roll back my G2's to the older firmware
