Blackmagic Camera - can you help me with this problem?

PostMon Feb 03, 2025 7:09 pm

Ever since using the latest version, the beginning few seconds of audio volume is "speed ramping"...

Is there a new setting that does this - I can't seem to find it.

I think it will help if you actually say which camera, and other details?

Maybe you can give the trial of CinemaP3 camera a chance to narrow this down to an Apple or BM issue?

I just updated with the latest Blackmagic Camera for the iPhone, and I'm still having an "audio speed ramping" effect.

Some of my YouTube comments ask about it.

Yet:

When I use Apple's built-in camera, the audio is perfect.

Any ideas for a fix?

Is there a way to contact Blackmagic about this bug?

For all free software by BM it's right here.

Thanks for this suggestion...

I have an iPhone 14 Max with the latest version - audio speed ramps up to 10 seconds.

My wife has an iPhone 16 Pro with the latest version - no audio speed ramping... works perfect.

Bizarre.

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
