Hello everyone,

I received my BM 12k LF body and don't found wifi antennas in the box.
Is it normal or just a problem in my box ?
On the BM website they say that antennas is in the box.

Contact your vendor.

Already done.
He said that this is the first body version for him and he don't know if this is normal. He send a mail to BM.
We will see...

Definitely a packing oversight as not only does the product technical specifications What’s in the Box include the antennas but also the product picture shows the antennas. Sometimes photo is an illustration that might depict additional accessories not included but when that happens the items are light grey to distinguish them from the base product.

Was your package shrink wrapped in a pretty box depicting the Body?

my package was shrink wrapped and the box is only brown without image of the camera.
I think all is ok with my package. In the box there are place for body but no place for the antennas. A foam surrounds the body and I don't know where they can put the antennas.

Do not discard any of the packaging until this is sorted out.

Any possibility that due to EU conventions and laws the WiFi Antennas were not included?

In the french version of the BM site, they said that the antennas are in the box.
In some youtube videos of french people with full evf version of the camera, the antennas are present so I think that EU convention is not the problem.

maybe this is a counterfeit

I think the market for counterfeit Blackmagic LF cameras is quite small

Ben Scott has received his camera's body version and did not find the antennas so I think that BM do not deliver the body version with antennas opposed to there web site annoucement.

The specs list “Blackmagic URSA Cine WiFi Antennas” included with the cameras. The extensive list of accessories does not include “Blackmagic URSA Cine WiFi Antennas” yet the only description in the numerous mentions of Wifi is the description of high speed WiFi.

So what exactly does the WiFi support out of the many possibilities? Where is more information available?

Yep my box didn't contain antennas either.

Just the body and the resolve license. Have put in a support request.

Someone from BMD will likely respond next week. However, I hope this is resolved by the time I get around to being able to order an URSA Cine 12K. However, I'm sure that the option to purchase antennae will be made available after body purchase.

Edit. I’m making the deal on my (used) minivan purchase. So that’s step one. Next step two will be selling my Steadicam (listed) for step three buying the UC12K. So hopefully this is resolved by that time.

I'm happy for you for step 1 timbutt2.
I will let a message here if I have information about theses antennas. I don't know if I will use them but this is better to have the camera with full function in case I will use it.

Blackmagic said some went out like this and asked for my address and will have some soon to send out.

I sent a mail to BM to inform them of this missing antennas in my package.

I already received the same response as Ben. They will send me wifi antennas. They are very quick to answer and I'm happy that they respect there customers. A good point for BM.

My 12K just showed up without antennas as well. It does not seem like there is anywhere in the packaging to have the antennas.

Quick heads-up I got a notification from BM today that they are about to ship some to me.

@dolby1970 Yes, there are anywhere in the packaging for the antenas. I think every buyer will receive without antennas.

@Ben I received the same message today. I will inform you when the antennas are here.
