LUTs for android users

PostSat Mar 01, 2025 8:01 am

Hi I just installed the Blackmagic camera app and already tried practice shooting with it. I know that only Iphone users can use the LUTs in the camera settings. How do androids users go about this? Do our raw footage in log and "raw" form stand alone? Or is it a must that it should be "treated" at post with LUTs or filter? By the way, I'm using Capcut Pro for my editing. Please help, this LUTs thing is complicated for me (i'm a newbie). Thanks in advance!

LUTs setting on Android

PostSat Mar 01, 2025 8:25 am

Hi! I just downloaded the Blackmagic camera app and saw that the LUTs setting is not available for android users. How do I go about this in shooting? They say that my phone screen will appear "flat" because of the absence of LUTs. How will I know if Im using the right settings for white balance, exposure, color, etc. Sorry but I'm a newbie in mobile videography. Thanks in advance.

Luts are available on Android depending on model.
