BMPCC4K - Horizontal Image Shift in Firmware 8.6

I use the BMPCC4K as static wide stage shot, so I am quite meticulous in pointing the camera as central as possible. I have noticed when viewing the result that the video image has shifted left by about 5-10%. I checked this playing the braw file in Blackmagic RAW Player.

I'm shooting in UHD 12:1 Braw

I have recently upgraded the firmware to 8.6 and can only deduce that this may be the problem. Can I downgrade the firmware as a first attempt to resolve. Anybody else had this problem?

I can confirm that downgrading the firmware to 8.1.1 has solved this problem.

That’s good news. I record BRAW Q1 usually on firmware 8.1 without issues.

Bad code. The active UHD crop starts at 0 instead of 128.

Good Luck

That's interesting. Hopefully this gets fixed in future update.
