I’ve been looking everywhere for a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K with an EF mount. Has it reached EOL?

There has never been a PCC4K with EF Mont, only MFT.

Good to know, I guess I didn't read the tech specs! Thank you so much for making it obvious to me Robert  I should have read everything! Mods, feel free to close this post!

Case closed ;)

But you can adapt the MFT mount to EF mount, for example with the Metabones Speedbooster and make it real.

Just be careful to select the SpeedBooster designed for the Blackmagic BMPCC4K as BMD uses a thicker sensor filter (to accommodate in the optics of the adapter).

Yes, thanks Alex! The only thing getting thicker is what used to be my brain! Standard sensor filter 4mm, all BMD filters 2.4mm AFAIK.

I mainly want a second BMCC to accompany my 6K for when I shoot interviews but it seems like it might just be more cost effective to get a 6K G2. That way I have an upgraded A camera and can just use my 6K as my B camera

Ah, we thought you owned a BMPCC4K!

Sure, buying a BMPCC6K G2 is fine for your current situation. Shooting with two cameras that are easy to match in post can make for much more interesting deliverables. All the best!
