Android Blackmagic Camera --> Cloud --> DR --> Media Offline

I am using:

• an Android Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra,
• using the Blackmagic Camera app (version 2.2.0071), saving files to Gallery, uploading proxies and originals to the cloud,
• Blackmagic Cloud Storage,
• Davinci Resolve (v 18.6) downloading proxies and originals from the cloud to a Windows 11 PC.

My problem: every single video shows as offline.

If I try to relink, same result. If I "open file location" the original file is present. I've tried recording in HEVC (H.265) and H.264, same results with both. The videos play, audio is fine, but no visuals. This is the same if I try to play them in Windows Media Player Legacy as well, but they all play fine in VLC Media Player. For proxy handling, I've tried both "prefer proxies" and "prefer camera originals" with no change other than the icon showing on the thumbnail.

I'm a definite noob at all of this. Any suggestions on what I should check next would be greatly appreciated. :0)

OK, it seems to be something to do with the codecs. I thought I'd tested recording in both H.264 and H.265 and got the same results. But turns out I was clicking the wrong files.

I retested and it's the H.265 files for which Davinci is not playing the videos. I can convert them to H.264 and then they play fine.
