Viltrox NF-M1 No Autofocus

Hello, I have a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II lens that I would like to use on my BMPCC 4k camera. I purchased a viltrox NF-M1 adapter because of the autofocus capabilities. However, autofocus does not appear to work on my Blackmagic camera. I have made sure the firmware on the adapter and BMPCC camera is up to date. I also tested it on an M4/3 Lumix camera, and the autofocus does work with this lens. Is there some kind of setting I may have to enable to get it to work? I know the autofocus on the camera isn't the best, but I would just like some functionality for operating simplicity.
