BMC playout

Hi guys,

Is it possible to playback pro res files on a SSD transferred from Mac book pro through the BMCC ?? In effect if we have a final rendered project on a SSD, can we play that from BMC and get the HD-SDI out ?

I like that idea. I'm wondering if this works as well.
What would you personally use it for?

Not entirely sure, but if your MBP is a newer one with USB3, I would just use a UltraStudio SDI...

Yes, as long as they are the same codec, 10bit 422 ProRes at the same frame rate the camera is set to.
