For those of you who already have a BMD CC or are planning on getting one, what are your must have lenses in your bag?

Make, Model, F-stop, etc...

Curious to see what everyone has in their bags.

I always keep:

Tamron 17-50 F/2.8 non VR
Canon 70-200 F/4 L non-IS

Pretty much covers everything I could need.
Definitely a light and affordable lens kid to fit my low budget.

I purchased the MFT version since I figure I can find more inexpensive and diverse lenses for this mount. Will be using my Canon FD 20mm f2.8, 35mm f2, 50mm f1.4, and 85mm f2.8 lenses from my 35mm still days (I'm a primes guy) and also purchased a PL mount for when I rent out lenses from my school and/or local rental house.

Interested in hearing what you guys are using though...

Totally forgot to mention... also purchased a KOWA 16H 2x anamorphic adapter to use with my FD glass. Was wondering if anyone else here was planning on shooting anamorphic.

Zeiss Distagon ZF 25mm f2
Pentax 50mm f1.2
Helios 58mm f2 (for the swirling bokeh)
Zeiss Jena 135mm f3.5
Canon 70-200mm f4
Pentacon 300mm f4 (for more specific uses such as shooting surf)

That's a good start, but I feel like with the crop factor you're going to want one more lens that can go wider.

Here's what I have ready to go with the EF mount whenever the camera gets here...

Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5
Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS (feel like this will be used a lot)
Canon 70-200 f/4 IS (feel like this won't be used much)
Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine (as a main medium shot portrait prime)
Canon 50mm f/1.4 (as a close-up prime)
Rokinon 85mm T1.8 Cine (as an intimate close-up prime, although this might be too extreme for most indoor shots - feel like this one isn't going to be used much with the BMCC, got it more for the C300)

I'm debating about the Rokinon 24mm T1.5 Cine, I've heard mixed results about that one. I'm going to have to see how either the 17-55mm or 35mm does first with the wider shots.

If you're building a basic kit from scratch and need good versatility in the fewest amount of lenses, this is probably your best bet (for the EF mount, don't know much about MFT lenses) :
Tokina 11-16mm f2.8
Canon 17-55mm f/2.8 IS
Rokinon 35mm T1.5 Cine

And if you need the telephoto, throw in the 70-200mm.

- Novoflex EOSNIK Adapter

Lenses that I would be considering purchasing at some point in the future:
- Zeiss Compact Prime Super Speed lenses (starting with the 50mm probably, then the 35mm.)
- Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L II lens
- Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L lens

As one could suspect, I've been shooting Nikon DSLRs for many years (hence all the F Mount glass), and I use them with my FS100 via a Novoflex adapter and they work great (I also shoot a lot of second camera with my D800). I would be interested in Canon lenses simply for the autofocus features for more 'run and gun' shooting, when I need something that can focus a little more quickly. My interest in the Zeiss glass is based on the beautiful imagery that John Brawley has shot, but of course I would love to do some testing to see how much of a difference there is between the CP super speeds and my Nikon glass. I watched Rick Young's test videos as well, which have certainly piqued my interest in these lens comparisons also.

Since I shoot a lot of interviews, I would likely look at the Zeiss CP super speed 50mm first for the working distance, followed by the 35mm, though I'm not 100% certain yet.

I've got a 8mm Rokinon that I mainly use for skateboarding that I throw on there when I need something ultra wide. Hardly leaves the bag though as I'm more of a long lens kind of guy.
