scratches on URSA

PostMon Apr 20, 2015 8:08 am

is anyone experiencing this problem? over time these scratches have appeared on the door screen some on the edges and on the lower left side?

Seems like there due to door being opened and closed during shoots. i don't think BMD did this test.... Should i be worried ?

I've looked at multiple units that we've had here and I haven't seen this come up from opening & closing the screen.

Well it's a cosmetic thing and if you want do a touchup job on those parts, that would be to your discretion. I do not have a suggestion as to what type to use as we do not handle that type of stuff in our facility.

It is the type II anodizing that is wearing. This is normal on anything that is dyed black using Type II, when it rubs against itself it rubs off.

Source: Own a manufacturing company that does anodizing.
