Are they shot @ RAW Frank?
To be honest, they are very very amazing.. I couldn't tell you how I impressed by the frame grabs... What lenses are you using with the camera on this job?

Wow, that last one screams analogue  I bet he shot in RAW using his old Zeiss lenses :)

From a reply from Frank on Twitter: "No, just 35 and 24 Samyang and an old KinoPrecession zoom."

I should really have a second look at the Samyang lenses. Looks good!

Those are all the KinoPrecession (Vivitar), only the shot in the church is the 24 Samyang.

Yeah it's all raw of course.
With that production value in front of the camera, I would be a complete idiot, to shoot anything else than raw. :D

I would have love to shoot with my vintage Zeiss glass, but I still wait for two wider lenses coming in.
The Samyang are great, but they don't really mix with the Zeiss, cause they have such a distinct signature.

idd, the old zeiss glasses might have even pushed it further when it comes to the looks, as amazing as it is now without them ^^

The shot with the jeeps is simply amazing! They're all great though. Are they mostly available light?

It's funny, cause the shot in the church did seem to stand out slightly compared to the others.

thanks, as always, for sharing!

Yes all available light. The church had 3 windows at each side and some sort of pretty bright chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Took me some time to turn that down to usable levels in Resolve.

Though that material was shot as part of my docu, I could not resist to bolt something together.

Uploading as we speak.

Wow Frank!! Thanx for using this camera..... The exterior shots look awesome. And i've notice some vignetting (lenses, mattebox,??) anyway it's awesome how it looks. That shot when the jeep arrives is true cinema worthy.

I notice that shot in interior and at night on this camera i still don't finde them pleasant to the eye.

So...everything is raw?? As i told before every interior or night shot i've seen of this camera from all of the users who have shot something...i don't like the look of it
again thanx frank!!! you are awesome!!!

Thanks Frank for post your work!

I don´t like the color correction because i think is very dark in my opinion, but it´s a cool stuff!
Jesuan maybe this footage that i found in youtube will like you:

i've arrived to the conclusion that street lamps are what makes footage look odd to me.
i've seen this was shot at 25 fps and it still looks pretty cinematic. FRank keep on your work...you are an inspiration at least for me. :P

If I could afford it, I'd just hire Frank to shoot my next project instead of waiting for mine to come in. There's no way I'd get as good a picture as you consistently get with this camera. Great job!

Don't go selling yourself short, Jason. I'm looking forward to seeing what many people on this forum can do with the camera. Helps me to learn as well.

Beautiful work Frank... as ever! I kept waiting for Tom Hanks to appear, the production value matched with the camera's image is so cinematic.

Knew you'd like the BMCC ; )

Thanks for your warm words.

I'm still fighting color spaces.
On my calibrated production monitor it looks a ton better than, what end's up on YT/Vimeo (color wise - compression is a whole other can of worms)
It looks different in Premiere, AE and Resolve.
It looks different if I encode it from Premier or Handbreake.

That sh--t drives me nuts.

Think I use AE for mastering in the future - at least I have some control over the color space there.
