$24 BMCC battery solution?

PostFri Dec 28, 2012 9:09 pm

Hi Guys, Just came across this possible battery solution on eBay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Canon-BP-Series-to-LCD-Monitor-Battery-Adapter-Plate-Converts-7-4V-to-12V-/181052194918?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a278d4066

It appears to do the same 7.4v to 12v voltage up conversion that Ikan's battery adaptor does, but for a fraction of the cost! No real mounting option as standard for it (Velcro comes with it...) but should be easily adapted I imagine.

Any good do you think?

In tech sense it should work as they both have probably the same solution in them.

There is little thing called step up module for "generating" 12 v out of 7.

Order one and test it out.
